Leading into a strong come back for the group Aerosmith and from the album Permanent Vacation released in 1987 (album) the song Angel (1988), quickly climbed to the number three spot on the Billboard. Angel incorporates many of rock and roll’s power ballad style driving guitar riff’s, violins, keyboards and the emotional vocalization of  Steven Tyler.

Back In The Saddle is a song written and performed by Aerosmith appearing on their album Rocks, 1976. Back In The Saddle peaked at number 38 on the US Billboard.

Dream On was the first single released from Aerosmith‘s debut album Aerosmith, 1973 – becoming the band’s first hit single. An Aerosmith signature song and concert staple, there exists several recorded versions.

Another powerful song from the album, Dude (Looks Like A Lady) reached number 14 on the Billboard chart. The song talks about looking for a lady and originally sported the title Crusin’ For A Lady, albeit the main character is either effeminate or a male in drag.

Released as the second single from the Aerosmith album Pump, Janie’s Got A Gun peaked at number four on the Billboard. There are two versions of the song. The version of Janie’s Got A Gun on the album features the solo introductory work of musician Randy Raine-Reusch who performs Water Song. Water Song comprised of a glass harmonica, wind gong and bull roarers.

Written by Stephen Tyler, Joe Perry and Mark Hudson, Livin’ On The Edge appears on the Aerosmith album Get A Grip, 1993. It was the first commercially successful single released from the album. Tackling the ‘sorry state of the World,’ Livin’ On The Edge marks Aersomith‘s first attempt to write about social issues affecting the World.

Performed by the American rock band Aerosmith, Love In An Elevator appears on their album Pump, 1989 continuing to mark a serious come-back for the group. Rumored the idea for Love In An Elevator came to singer Stephen Tyler while completing research about submarines, specifically the Russian submarine Navarin.

Rag Doll is a song by the group Aerosmith and appears on their album Permanent Vacation released in 1987. Originally Rag Time, the song peaked at number seventeen on the Billboard. The B-side for the released 45 single featured an alternate take of Rag Doll mixed with the track St. John (Rockapella mix).

Sweet Emotion is a song written and performed by Aerosmith appearing on their album Toys In The Attic, 1975, and as a single the following month. Sweet Emotion was the first of a long stream of commercially successful releases for the band.

Part of the huge Aerosmith come back and from the album Pump, The Other Side was the fourth single released from that album 1990. Lyrics by Steven Tyler who in a law-suit with the song-writing team of Holland-Dozier-Holland who claimed similarities with their song Standing In The Shadows Of Love.

Written by Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, Walk This Way was the second single released from the very popular album Toys In The Attic. Walk This Way released in 1975 was a  huge commercial success, launching Aerosmith into main stream Rock and Roll. The song peaked at number ten on the Billboard 100.
