Thunderstruck is the first single released from the ACDC album The Razor’s Edge, 1990. Thunderstruck peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Rock charts. Although many theories abound regarding the lyrical content and main riff, Angus Young in interview clarified that the thoughts behind the song were generated from an earlier guitar riff and not that his plane was almost struck by lightening.
