The Inverted Flam Tap can be a difficult drum rudiment to learn and master. Although one of the forty International P.A.S. drum rudiments, the structure and initial learning of the Inverted Flam Tap make it an awkward rudiment for the drummer. Like all drum rudiments, the awkwardness of the Inverted Flam Tap wears off once mastered.
