The Triple Paradiddle is a standard drum rudiment, and maintains the characteristics of the other diddle rudiments, being comprised of alternate sticking and ‘diddles‘ or doubles. The Triple Paradiddle uses an alternate right and left hand sticking for six drum hits, followed by the addition of the single ‘diddle‘ or double stroke. It is common to see the first note of each Triple Paradiddle accented.
